A Message from Our MD as We Reach the Home Straight of 2025
As we approach the end of 2025, it has proven to be an extremely active and fulfilling year for everyone at Weiss Technik UK. At the start of the year we welcomed new team members for Sales and Service, we also launched our new website, participated in several charity events, and displayed our technologies at various UK tradeshows and open days. This year has again been marked by significant progress and development.
The business growth we fostered through 2024 continues. With our recent adoption of the Sales and Service activities in Ireland and Northern Ireland, we have opened up new and supportive possibilities. We’re expanding our team, improving our services, and ultimately discovering fresh impetus to grow our business in 2025 and beyond.
Enhancing Our Reach on the Island of Ireland
One of the achievements I take great personal pride in this year is assuming the responsibility for our operations on the Island of Ireland, across all 32 Counties. As our longstanding agency partners at DACTEC enjoy their well-earned retirement, the adoption of the Sales and Services activities signifies major progress for us, and we are already identifying chances to strengthen customer connections and improve local support.
I am happy to announce that Conor O’Regan is now our dedicated Service Engineer in Ireland, available to assist customers. Additionally, we are in the process of hiring a Sales Representative in the territory to further bolster our team and our capabilities. I’ve personally visited many customers this year, both North and South, and without exception we are well received.
A Busy Schedule of Events
The third quarter has kept us occupied as we showcased Weiss Technik UK’s environmental simulation and test solutions across a variety of industries and sectors. We kicked off the quarter at the Battery Cells & Systems Expo at the NEC in Birmingham, and the UK Space Conference in Manchester, followed by an eventful September with the UK CEUG Meeting in Kent, The Faraday Institution Conference in Coventry, and the North East Automotive Expo in Sunderland.
Looking forward to the fourth quarter, I am eager to travel with the Midland Aerospace Alliance (MAA) Roadshow, a two-week journey to some of the UK’s top aerospace and defence locations. With visits to Rolls-Royce and Parker Meggitt among others, this presents an excellent chance to display our solutions to some of the nation’s leading sectors and further strengthen our industry ties.
Mark Your Calendar for Our Next Open Day
In terms of events, I am thrilled to share that we will be organising another Weiss Technik Open Day on Thursday, November 6 at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in Sheffield, concentrating on vibration and climatic testing.
After the success of our prior event, this day is expected to be yet another engaging and enlightening experience.
Participants can anticipate:
- Interactive demonstrations of our newest technology.
- Informative presentations from Weiss Technik, and from our friends and partners 1G Dynamics, Kemo / NDO Consultants, and a guided tour combining the Laboratory for Verification & Validation (LVV) and Factory 2050 at the AMRC. Not forgetting the opportunity for networking with fellow professionals.

I look forward to seeing you there, and urge you to join us if you have a requirement for climatic vibration testing.
Taking on the ‘It’s a Knockout’ Challenge
This year, I have been especially proud of the team's commitment to supporting Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, a remarkable charity that cares for over 750 babies, children, and young individuals facing life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Earlier this year, the team participated in the East Leake Triathlon, and more recently, they traded their running shoes for inflatable gear during a charity event called ‘It’s a Knockout’. If you recall the television program, you’ll understand that this involved much laughter, quirky costumes and a lively obstacle course, all aimed at generating support for a genuinely worthy cause.
Before the event, the team successfully raised £618, which has contributed to a cumulative total of £1,400 collected for Rainbows this year. I couldn’t be more proud of how everyone has ventured beyond their usual boundaries, demonstrating true commitment, team spirit and dedication to giving back. It’s a privilege to support the transformative work that Rainbows accomplishes, and if you wish to contribute, donations can be made here.
As we approach the concluding months of 2025, I want to extend my gratitude to our customers, partners, and, of course, the Weiss Technik UK team for their ongoing support and dedication. This year has been marked by growth, innovation, and community, and I take pride in what we have accomplished together.
With thrilling plans already in the works for 2026, I am confident that we will continue to build on this momentum, enhance our team, broaden our services, and achieve new milestones. Here’s to finishing the year on a high note and entering the next one with even greater aspirations.
