Health and Safety Accolade for OCS Environmental Service

OCS Environmental Services, part of the OCS Group, has received recognition of its commitment to the highest operational and safety standards through a prestigious Gold Award presented by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in their 2014 Awards for Occupational Health and Safety. The RoSPA Awards are internationally recognised and offer organisations a prime opportunity to prove their ongoing commitment to raising Health and Safety standards as part of the longest running and most highly respected occupational safety awards programme. David Rawlins RoSPA’s awards manager said: “The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational Health and Safety standards across the board. Organisations that gain recognition contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.” Dating back nearly 50 years, the scheme considers overarching Occupational Health and Safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The winners’ achievements were celebrated at an awards event in May 2014.
