"CEC worked closely with us on this challenging site in St Ives. The project is targeted to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4. To meet the Code’s ecology requirements, CEC carried out a Phase 1 Habitat survey to identify range of species present on the existing site. CEC’s ecologists and landscape designers liaised closely with the project team to prepare a landscape scheme that aims to enhance the site’s plant diversity. This included liaison with a roofing supplier to advise on plant species for incorporation in the proposed biodiverse green roof specification. Their work was presented in a clear, concise report that was submitted to the design stage Code assessor. The CEC team were helpful, friendly to deal with and their work was delivered on time and on budget. I would be happy to work with them again."
