Air Source Heat Pump Installers

A heat pump is a device designed to move heat from one location to another using mechanical energy. Heat pumps can be used to heat and cool spaces but most commonly, heat pumps draw heat from the ground or the air. Air Source Heat Pumps do not require a land area and instead exchange heat using a fan unit outside. Air Source Heat Pumps can lose efficiency with a drop in outside air temperature. An efficient heat pump is a cheaper alternative to using oil, LPG or electric storage systems and can be an equivalent cost to mains gas boilers. Little maintenance is required following installation, the internal components have an expected lifetime of 25 years and the ground loop 50 years. Here at RES Devon we are proud to install the Daikin Altherma home heating system and the Viessmann Vitocal range including many more.
