CEC have a large resource of remote monitoring equipment for bats, which means that when remote monitoring is required, we can offer this equipment to a large number of clients at the same time. They can be programmed to turn on and off at certain times, so they can be set to come on just before sunset and off at sunrise to maximize battery life. With an external battery fitted, they can operate for up to two weeks without needing a visit to change the battery.
