Anaerobic Digestion

This form of renewable energy production is supported by the Feed-In Tariff and activity in this sector has increased recently. Anaerobic digestion plants are normally associated with farm yards and operations and do not look dissimilar to other farm buildings and structures. The technology transforms plant and animal waste into biogas and digestate in the absence of air, enclosed in suitable housings and containers.
