Habitat Assessments and Botanical Surveys

A Phase 1 Habitat survey is one of the first steps in undertaking an ecological assessment of a site. The survey is carried out in accordance with the methodology outlined by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) 1993 which is a standardised system for classifying and mapping natural and semi-natural habitats.
