Ship Noise Testing Services

The International Maritime Organisation�s (IMO) �Code of Noise Level on board Ships� came into force on the 1st July 2014. The purpose of The Code is to prevent hazardous noise levels on board ships and promote an acceptable living environment for seafarers. Soundguard Acoustics Ltd works with ship owners, shipyards and surveyors in conducting on board Ship noise surveys during active sea trials to determine the operational noise levels for vessels in work spaces, navigation spaces, accommodation spaces, service spaces, machinery and engine rooms. We can also assist in determining the alarm level, PA and speech interference sound level for compliance with the�SOLAS Resolution A.343(IX).
