Fronius UK to attend MACH 2018. New welding power sources get their UK debut at MACH 2018 Brought to you by the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), MACH is the UK’s premier event that showcases a variety of engineering based manufacturing technologies and Fronius UK Ltd will be there presenting their capabilities within the field of welding for manual, robotic and automated solutions including all the latest welding power sources showcasing in the UK for the first time. Open from the 9th – 13th April at the NEC in Birmingham, MACH is a biennial exhibition which brings together all the best innovations and latest developments to come from the manufacturing technologies sectors under one roof and attracts over 25,000 visitors. Fronius’ experts will be on stand H20-957 asking visitors about their welding challenges and offering a solution or alternative ways of welding to meet those challenges. See it first – The robust and reliable 3-in-1, single phase, TransSteel 2200 The TransSteel 2200 offers welders the quality, robustness and reliability expected from the Fronius TransSteel range but with a significant difference – multiprocess capability. The manual power source is the first single phase, 3-in-1 welding machine for MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA welding applications with a multivoltage option available, giving welders greater flexibility. Visitors to MACH will be able to see the TransSteel 2200 live at work in their demo bay as well as on the stand. It’s not only seam quality that matters, speed plays a significant role too For the first time at a UK exhibition, Fronius will have their newly modified TIG process, ArcTig. Developed to help welders work more efficiently and reduce costs, ArcTig is an innovative mechanised joint welding process that allows users to weld up to ten millimetre thick alloy sheets and pipes without extensive seam preparation and reworking. Digitised welding and intuitive operation Manual TIG welding at Fronius has also had a refresh with the launch of two new power sources – the MagicWave 230i and the TransTig 230i. Both TIG machines are the first from Fronius that are able to communicate with other devices via Bluetooth, WLAN and NFC. The Fronius MagicWave 230i is an AC/DC power source with Active Wave technology making AC TIG welding much quieter whereas the TransTig 230i is a DC power source. See live demos of these machines on the Fronius stand. Welding solutions for your challenges Alongside the new products, Fronius will be showcasing their wide range of manual, robotic and automated welding solutions including the intelligent TPSi range with Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) technology for low heat input with an extremely stable arc, the WeldCube data management system for gathering and analysing weld data, the robust and flexible TransPocket 150 and 180 including the multivoltage capabilities of the TransPocket 180 and much more. Live demonstrations will be available everyday so visitors can see the quality and stability of Fronius’ welding power sources. Visit www.machexhibition.com to register to attend.
