3,000 Litre Static Horizontal Water Tank for Rainwater & Process
Our 3,000 Litre Static Horizontal Water Tank is designed for low profile water storage and is intended for use throughout the agricultural, construction, commercial, domestic, horticultural, industrial and irrigation sectors.
These plastic water tanks is are rotationally moulded as a one-piece construction from UV stabilised medium density polyethene (MDPE) in a ribbed design for added strength. There is a large lid on the top for water pumps and entry to the tank to clean.
Where 3,000 Litre Static Horizontal Water Tanks are used
Potable water storage (black, boat blue or natural colour options only)
Loft/header tanks- less weight penalty
Rainwater harvesting tanks for collecting garden water
Low profile rainwater tanks
Sprayer tank for collecting rainwater for agricultural sprayers
Process water break tank
Backwash tank
Balance tank
Effluent process tank
Ph adjustment tank
WRAS Approved Drinking Water Tanks
All our potable drinking water tanks are manufactured from WRAS approved (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) polymer in black, boat blue or natural. Our water tanks are all fully DWI approved and meet the specific requirements of Regulation 31. In many installations, potable water tanks will need to be Fluid Category 5 Compliant, which are available here as well as insulated tanks to prevent thermal gain and loss.
Rainwater Harvesting Tanks
Rainwater Harvesting Tanks – water resources are under pressure in England & Wales as demand for water is rises due to the increase in the population, changes in lifestyles and a changing climate.
What savings can be achieved by using a rainwater harvesting system?
Any rainwater harvesting system will reduce your dependence on the mains water supply. Potential savings should be assessed on an individual basis as there are many factors that will influence this. Demands of non-potable water, the amount of rainwater that can be collected and whether the property is charged by volume of volume used.
Savings will be higher in commercial/industrial buildings and schools as these types of buildings having much larger roof areas and a much greater demand for non-potable water and flushing toilets.
Are there grants for rainwater harvesting?
There are grants for rainwater harvesting which are available in regions of the country. Benefits of using a rainwater harvesting system include reducing the demand for mains water and relieve pressure on available supplies.
Industrial & Process Water Customisations
The 500-litre horizontal tank is offered with chemical tank options including industrial mixers and liquid level sensor assemblies. Other additions include filling pipes, inlets, outlets, PN16 and ANSI flanges, welded sockets and as well as fume proof lids and vents depending on what is being stored in the tank.
