In expanding the team, Richard focused on leveraging existing industry expertise. The Elite team now boasts a collective experience of over 200 years, with members having previously collaborated at well-known companies like Johnston Pipes, Ennstone, ARC, Hanson, F P McCann, Besblock (part of Aggregate Industries), CPM Group, Marshalls, Naylor Concrete, Hanson, and Supreme Concrete. Richard emphasises the wealth of knowledge within the team, including production crews with backgrounds at reputable companies, ensuring the manufacturing of concrete products of various shapes and sizes. The quality control team, with past roles at Tarmac, Hanson, CPM, and Marshalls, emphasises the importance of reliable and consistent quality in products and customer service. The commercial team brings years of collective experience, having worked together in various capacities at Johnston Pipes, Ennstone, CPM Group, Marshalls, F P McCann, Naylors, and Besblock. They now reunite at Elite Precast Concrete, combining their expertise with younger members to foster enthusiasm and market knowledge. Richard notes, “I’ve worked with every member of the Elite senior team over the years, which is why I know their skill sets and how they complement each other.” The team's diverse knowledge includes drainage products, walling experience, and market insight, contributing to Elite's growth plans. He highlights the collaborative spirit within the team, where members willingly share their expertise to achieve shared success. Looking ahead, Elite Precast aims to expand its product range over the next 12 months, not only enhancing existing offerings but also venturing into new markets such as solar energy, fencing, agricultural, and electric vehicle solutions.
