Duo blocks used for award winning design

Our versatile interlocking blocks have earned recognition through an award-winning garden design created by Inspired Earth Design, constructed by Yoreland Design, and sponsored by Visit The USA and Trailfinders at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. The Gold medal-winning design featured the use of our Duo blocks to construct a wall, contributing to the recreation of America's diverse landscapes, including expansive vistas and a waterfall feature, evoking the sense of a vast wilderness. The garden, which won the Best Show Award, showcased three distinct natural landscapes synonymous with North America: desert, forest, and prairie. Yoreland Design utilised various walling materials to represent each landscape, with planting schemes tailored to mimic the unique conditions of each environment. This included the use of succulents in the desert area, aspen trees for woodland planting in the forest section, and grasses and wild perennials evoking the prairie. These efforts resulted in the garden being awarded the Best Construction Award.
