Anderson Floor Warming Underfloor Heating may be fitted using Floor Joist Plate 16 for installation on standard wooden joists c/c 600 mm. FJP 16 is manufactured by pressing aluminium sheet into heat diffusion plates. The design is particularly suitable for refurbishment and post build projects, as well as new build, offering significant savings over tradition installation methods, saving both additional materials (wood cross battens and noggins) and building labour required for other ufh fixing systems. Care should be taken to ensure the edges of the plates do not touch, to prevent noise from expansion and contraction. The construction permits the laying of a load-bearing floor covering directly on top of the floor joists (with intermediate layer of cell foam).
